The Power of Consistency

I am trying to be more consistent!  I’ve observed that I tend to maintain consistency in activities I enjoy, while I often claim to be too busy when it comes to tasks I don’t particularly like.  Can you relate?  Here are some ways I am bringing consistency to all areas of my life!

Time Block

I plan out my day by detailing each hour and specifying what I will be doing.  By eliminating the mental strain of constantly thinking about what comes next and the anxiety that often accompanies lengthy to-do lists, I find myself significantly more productive.  The plan never unfolds exactly as expected but it is very beneficial in planning the day!

Monthly Goals

They are great because they are quick and can help make habits stick.  By month-end, I assess whether it’s a habit worth continuing.

Stack Small Wins

We often think that it needs to be BIG to be a win.  The truth is that if we stack small wins, they become big wins. What is the one area of life you need to improve?  What is one small step you could take to make that happen?  Start there!  Start smaller than you want to and be consistent!!  When you do it consistently, you will build confidence.

What do you want to be more consistent at?  I challenge you to write down 1 area and 1 goal where you will be consistent!  Let’s do this together!
