What Story Will you Tell in 2024?
We all tell a story with our lives. The question is what story will YOU tell in 2024? I dare you to dream and imagine what it could look like! What is that dream on your heart that you are kind of scared to say out loud? That might be the one you need to chase this year!
I understand a million excuses come up on why you can’t do it! Trust me, most years I am right there with you!
The year I wanted to build our Northgate building, I wanted to say that seems impossible to me! The real question was – Who can help me? Am I willing to ask for help?
The year we started Orangetheory, I wanted to use the excuse we didn’t know how to run a small business. The real question was – Can I learn? Also question #1 – Who can help me? We had Area Developers, who I asked hundreds of questions to while learning how to run a business!
Last year I wanted to start a podcast and speak on stages. The real question was – Do you have the courage to do it? Also question #1 – Who can help me?
You don’t have to do it alone! Seek out the people that have the same passions. Hire the coach you need to take you to the next level. Be in the room with people that are where you want to be at in life or your career! Can it be scary? YES! But so is staying the same and ending 2024 in the same place as you are at the beginning!
“Love yourself where you are now, but also love yourself enough not to stay there!” – Cleo Wade
Here is the Person I Want to Be in 2024
A person that has a great relationship with her husband and kids. A person that gets to run studios and make leaders better. A person that is being who God called me to be. A person that doesn’t deal with vertigo anymore. A person that figures out how to heal her hip pain. A person that isn’t overwhelmed and prioritizes well. A person that celebrates a 1-year podcast anniversary and gets in top 5% of podcasts. A person that travels and says yes to experiences. A person that has fun and laughs. A person that continues to learn and grow to help people live longer, healthier lives. A person that cares deeply about the people in her life.
Last year I wanted to be the person that really understood nutrition and what food could do with your body. I spent hundreds of hours getting certified and also researching on my own. I saw so many members and friends working very hard to be healthy and lose weight, only to have food sabotage their progress. Eating too little, too much, or the wrong foods. I wanted to find a way to make it simple to understand macros, fasting, and hormones, and how they all work together!
